Funding Your DSJ Account

Supported deposit methods: USDT via TRC20, USDT via ERC20, and Bitcoin (BTC)

⚠️ Critical: TRC20 or ERC20 Network

When depositing USDT, you must use either TRC20 or ERC20 network. Sending USDT via any network other than TRC20 or ERC20 (such as BEP20) will result in permanent loss of funds with no recovery possible.

Understanding Your Deposit Options

You can fund your account using three methods:

USDT via ERC20 – The easiest option. Most wallets (like MetaMask, Trust Wallet) support ERC20 out of the box. Addresses start with 0x.
USDT via TRC20 – Lower network fees (about $1-2). Requires selecting TRC20 network. Addresses start with T.
Bitcoin (BTC) – Supported, but BTC will be automatically converted to USDT in your account before trading. This adds an extra step and may involve exchange rate timing.

For the simplest experience, we recommend using ERC20.

Step-by-Step Deposit Process (Beginner)

Navigate to Deposit

In your DSJ app, go to the main trading screen and tap Deposit (NOT Withdrawal).

Choose Network

Select ERC20 (recommended) or TRC20 from the network dropdown. These are the only supported networks for USDT deposits.

Copy Wallet Address

Copy the deposit address shown. For ERC20 it starts with 0x; for TRC20 it starts with T. Double-check you copied the full address.

Send USDT

From your external wallet (Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Exchange, etc.):

Select USDT as the token
Select the same network you chose in DSJ (ERC20 or TRC20)
Paste the DSJ wallet address
Enter the amount to deposit
Confirm and send the transaction

Verify Deposit

Return to DSJ app and check your balance. Deposits usually arrive within 5-15 minutes.

Understanding Your Deposit Options (Technical Details)

Three deposit methods are supported:

USDT-TRC20 (Tron network): Address prefix 'T'. Low transaction fees (~$1-2 USDT). Fast confirmation (~1 minute). Use Tronscan (tronscan.org) to view transactions.
USDT-ERC20 (Ethereum network): Address prefix '0x'. Higher gas fees that fluctuate with network congestion. Widely supported across wallets and exchanges. Requires ~12-15 confirmations (3-5 minutes). Use Etherscan (etherscan.io) to track.
Bitcoin (BTC): Direct BTC deposits are accepted. Upon arrival, BTC is converted to USDT at the prevailing market rate. This conversion is automatic but may result in slight slippage depending on market conditions at the time of conversion. BTC network fees vary with mempool congestion; confirmations typically 1-3 blocks (~10-30 minutes).

Note: All trading within DSJ is conducted in USDT. Regardless of deposit method, your balance will be credited in USDT.

Step-by-Step Deposit Process (Advanced)

Access Deposit Function

In DSJ app, navigate to Assets → Deposit. Ensure you are on the deposit tab, not withdrawal.

Select Network & Asset

Choose the appropriate network from the dropdown:

For USDT: select TRC20 or ERC20.
For BTC: select Bitcoin (BTC).

Verify the network selection matches your intended deposit method. The wallet address displayed will change format based on network.

Copy Deposit Address

Copy the deposit address exactly as shown. Validate the prefix:

TRC20: begins with 'T'
ERC20: begins with '0x'
BTC: begins with '1', '3', or 'bc1'

You can verify the address format using a blockchain explorer (tronscan.org, etherscan.io, or blockstream.info for BTC).

Initiate Transfer from External Wallet/Exchange

From your external wallet or exchange account:

Select the correct token (USDT or BTC).
If USDT, ensure you select the same network (TRC20 or ERC20) as your DSJ deposit address.
Paste the DSJ deposit address.
Enter the amount to deposit.
Pay the network transaction fee (included separately or deducted from amount).
Confirm and broadcast the transaction.

Fee considerations: TRC20: ~$1-2 USDT; ERC20: gas fee varies (check ethgasstation); BTC: depends on mempool (check mempool.space).

Monitor Transaction Confirmation

Track the transaction on the appropriate blockchain explorer using the transaction hash. Confirmation times:

TRC20: ~1 minute (instant in practice)
ERC20: ~12-15 confirmations (3-5 minutes)
BTC: 1-3 confirmations (10-30 minutes)

Do not rely on wallet notifications alone; verify on the explorer.

Verify Credit in DSJ

Once the blockchain shows confirmations, the funds will appear in your DSJ deposit wallet. If you deposited BTC, it will be automatically converted to USDT at the current market rate. Check your USDT balance.

After the deposit is credited, proceed to transfer funds to your Trade Account within DSJ.

                        Cross-chain transfers are irreversible: Sending USDT-TRC20 to an ERC20 address (or vice versa) results in permanent loss. Always ensure the network matches exactly.
Address validation: Verify the address prefix (T for TRC20, 0x for ERC20, 1/3/bc1 for BTC). Use a blockchain explorer to confirm the address is valid before sending large amounts.
Address rotation: DSJ deposit addresses may change periodically. Always copy the address immediately before initiating the transfer. If in doubt, refresh the deposit screen.
BTC conversion: Deposited BTC is converted to USDT automatically. The conversion uses the market rate at the time of processing, which may differ from the rate at deposit initiation. No action required from you.

                    

Important Deposit Guidelines

Minimum Suggested Amount

While there is no official minimum, $500 is suggested for practical signal participation. Smaller amounts may limit trading flexibility.

Network Confirmation

Always verify you're on TRC20 before sending. The wallet address should start with 'T' (TRC20) or '0x' (ERC20). If you see a different prefix, you're on the wrong network. TRC20 addresses start with 'T', ERC20 addresses start with '0x'..

Transaction Fees

TRC20 transfers typically cost $1-2 in USDT. Ensure you send enough to cover both the deposit amount and network fee.

Double-Check Address

Always verify the wallet address matches exactly. Crypto transactions are irreversible. Copy-paste is recommended over manual entry.

After Depositing: Next Steps

Once your deposit arrives in DSJ, continue with the onboarding process:

Send your DSJ ID to your sponsor (Go to Home → little man icon → Copy ID)
Complete Basic Verification (Yellow tab) — 1-2 hours processing
Complete Advanced Verification (Green button) — upload documents
Transfer funds to Trade Account (Assets → Transfer → ALL)
Set up Bonchat — join server BG2026 and add contacts
Wait for approval from Elena before trading

Troubleshooting Deposits

Deposit hasn't arrived after 30 minutes

First, verify the transaction on a blockchain explorer (tronscan.org) using your wallet address and transaction hash. If the transaction shows as confirmed on the blockchain but not in DSJ, contact DSJ support with the transaction details.

I sent to the wrong network (ERC20/BEP20)

Funds sent via wrong network are likely unrecoverable. DSJ support may not be able to recover cross-chain transfers. Always double-check that you are using TRC20 or ERC20 before sending.

Wallet address changed after I copied it

DSJ deposit addresses can change periodically. Always copy the address immediately before sending. If you're unsure, refresh the deposit screen and copy again.

Can I deposit via exchange (Binance, Coinbase, etc.)?

Yes. Withdraw USDT from the exchange to your DSJ deposit address, selecting TRC20 as the withdrawal network. Be aware of exchange withdrawal fees and minimums.
